Justin Upton was traded to the Atlanta Braves. This is a very good trade for the Braves who have finally given the team 3 good to great outfielders instead of 2. They had to give up Martin Prado but in the end made out very good.
Al Gore sold Current TV which is a shame. The station really never took off. Al Gore made lots of money from it and sold it to a foreign company which is a joke.

The women’s team tips off against SoCon preseason favorite Davidson at 5 p.m., and the men’s team hosts Chattanooga at 7:30 p.m. Each team has invited its alums back on campus for the game and will introduce and recognize them at halftime. Purchasing a ticket to the women’s game will allow for entry to the men’s game, and commemorative posters featuring Georgia Southern basketball alums will be given out at the door.
